Wines
Our production always respects tradition and even for typical Ligurian wines we remain faithful to ancient techniques. Our grapes grow among the dry stone walls of the terraces of our Dolcedo vineyard, with different exposures and at variable altitudes up to 400 meters above sea level.
We only make wine from the grapes harvested on our own estate, which, thanks to their different characteristics, allow us to offer you fine Ligurian wines capable of describing the characteristics of our territory.
The limestone and rocky land of our Dolcedo hills, in Western Liguria, is perfectly suited to the production of excellent wines. Respecting the territory and tradition, we produce and sell online exclusively typical and fine Ligurian wines.
For this reason, in our online shop Frantoio San Martino you will find a selection of white wines and red wines for a wine journey through the hills of Liguria, where native vines are expressed in bottles full of character. Every sip is an invitation to explore the Ligurian wine heritage and celebrate the passion for good wine.
Among our white wines you will find the Pigato Doc Riviera Ligure di Ponente, with a fresh and mineral flavour, grown in the highland vineyards and aged for 6 months in steel barrels and 1 month in the bottle. Perfect to pair with typical Ligurian dishes, such as fish and white meats.
If Pigato is a wine suitable for aging, our other proposal among white wines expresses the maximum of its taste in the first two years after the harvest: Vermentino Doc Riviera Ligure di Ponente. Grown in the vineyards closest to the coast, it has a maturation identical to Pigato, but a warm and enveloping taste, ideal for aperitifs and fish.
Our red wine proposal is the Rossese Doc Riviera Ligure di Ponente with floral and spicy aromas and a rich and balanced flavour. We grow it at a minimum altitude of 250 meters above sea level with a maturation of 6 months in steel and a further 3 months in the bottle. To make the most of its flavor we recommend consuming it in the first five years after the harvest.
Choose your favorite typical Ligurian wine, purchase it from the comfort of your home and immerse yourself in a sensorial journey that celebrates the passion for good wine and the richness of the Ligurian territory.
